Dimensions & Details
Size:
The table is 36" x 72". The finished top is at 30” above the floor. This is a good size for 4 people.

Top:
The table top is made of solid walnut. Ash is a hardwood which means that it won't easily be damaged by using the table. We build our table tops using multiple planks which helps to create a stronger table than you would get from just one slab. This table is just over 1" thick. It features an edge that is eased on the underside, commonly referred to as a Saarinen edge. This kind of edge gives the table a sleek mid-century look.

Base:
The base for this table is made of walnut to match the top. With the two U shapes crossing in the middle, we refer to this as a single cross base.

Finish:
The walnut has been finished with an all-natural oil. We hand rub this oil into the wood. It adheres to the individual fibres, instead of just sitting on top, to create durable matte finish. This finish was originally developed for hardwood floors so it is strong enough to stand up to daily use.

Custom:
All of our tables are built to order. This table was built for a customer and is already in its new home. We can build one like it for you either just like this or with changes such as the legs or the size.

Care instructions
-Always use coasters or mats while keeping hot, cold, or wet materials on the surface else this can affect the polish.
-Any spillage should be wiped dry with a soft cloth immediately as there is a chance of staining.
-Any cleaning needs to be done with water only
For an ageless look of the product, we recommend a 6 monthly wax rub-down for solid-wood furniture. -Wood wax is readily available in online stores & local hardware stores
Colour/polish can fade due to prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Note: Please avoid dragging the piece to reposition it, as this can weaken the joints over an extended period of time.
